These are the best 5 attractions we did during our stay in the city.

5. The Houses of Parliament & Big Ben – Iconic symbols of London, located along the River Thames and rich in political history.

Tips and Hacks

Getting around

• Use an Oyster Card or Contactless

  • Tap in and out on Tube/bus using contactless debit or credit cards or Oyster for the cheapest fares. No need to buy paper tickets.

• Avoid Rush Hour (7–9 AM, 5–7 PM)

  • Tubes get packed, and prices can be higher on some services.

  • Travel slightly earlier/later for a much calmer experience.

• Buses Are Cheaper (and Scenic!)

  • Flat fare of £1.75, even for long rides. Great for sightseeing.

Changing of the Guard Hack: Skip the Buckingham Palace crowd and go to Wellington Barracks or The Mall for a better view.
